Everyone had escaped the streets to seek shelter in the warm buildings.
All except for one.
A blonde haired man walked deep within the heavy shadows; being careful not to draw attention to himself. He didn't mind the cold, but would have preferred it to be dry instead of rain. Yet he didn't complain as he had the now darkened streets all to himself.
He looked inside the warm buildings to see groups of people sipping warm drinks and dressed to keep warm.
Humans were interesting, he thought. One minute they would relish being outside, but when it became too uncomfortable, they would escape inside to warm up when they would have to go back outside again.
The man rolled his uncovered eye as he buttoned up his coat over his expensive suit.
He continued his evening walk when he stumbled across some peculiar buildings. Cars were parked in parking lots and the buildings seemed to be connected by these numerous paths and courtyards.

Mabel felt her eyes start to flutter open.
She rubbed her hazel orbs to see the bright sunlight sunshine above through beautiful willow trees.
Mabel started to wonder where she was when she noticed the large lagoon she was in; while laying down in soft makeshift bed of seaweed and sails from wreaked ships. Along the lagoon was a beautiful cascading waterfall gushes clear blue water.
While she was in awe of this lovely place she had to wonder: how did she get here? The last thing she remember was being on the raft as the blue bird and the fishes in the river were trying to lead her to safety; but these horrid snake creatures had attacked the raft. Sending her to plunge the deepen depths of the water where they seized her and were going to take her back to their master.
